We are honored to invite artist Gao Yingxia, who is visiting the Bay Area, to host a sharing session: China in the 1980s and Artistic Creation. Professor Gao will share from her personal experiences, using her observations from a sketching trip to Xishuangbanna during her studies at the Art Academy in the 1980s as a thread. She will discuss her creative journey, her reflections on the important roles women play in society and family, as well as her thoughts on art and life.
